Providing Feedback On Cultivate Interactive Articles

A experimental service for providing feedback on articles published in Cultivate Interactive is now available. This service uses the Crit service for reading and submitting comments.

This is an experminental service. Feedback is stored on an external service. The Cultivate Interactive team are not in a position to guarantee that this service will continue indefinitely. However the service has been running since 1997. We are hopeful that it will continue to run and provide a useful service.

The service can be used not only for readers to comment on articles, but also for authors to provide an update on old articles. For example Brian Kelly wrote an article on The Development Of Web Protocols And Formats in issue 1 of Exploit Interactive in April 1999. He has annotated his article giving details of developments to the HTTP protocol which did not develop as predicted. The annotation is also linked from a view of the page.

To submit a comment you should follow the link to the Crit service and then click on the Comment icon on the top right hand corner of the page as shown below.

To read comments which have been submitted you should scroll to the bottom of the page. If an annotation has been made you will see a link, as shown below.

As well as reading and making annotations this service can also be used to find out about links to the page.
